CNC Milling
CNC milling supports large industrial wear parts up to 72 inches in diameter, with machining available for coated components, uncoated parts, and solid tungsten carbide solutions requiring accurate geometry.
Parkway-Kew Corporation supports Ohio manufacturers with large part CNC machining, turning, milling, and precision grinding for demanding industrial components. From heavy wear parts to coated or solid tungsten carbide solutions, our in-house capabilities help reduce downtime, improve durability, and meet the expectations of Ohio’s manufacturing, wire, energy, and heavy equipment sectors.

Large-part machining, grinding, fabrication, and coating solutions for demanding industrial wear components.
CNC milling supports large industrial wear parts up to 72 inches in diameter, with machining available for coated components, uncoated parts, and solid tungsten carbide solutions requiring accurate geometry.
CNC turning provides precise large-diameter machining for heavy-duty components, complementing coating and rebuilding work where concentricity, surface condition, and reliable part performance are essential.
Manual turning adds flexibility for large, complex, or specialized components, supporting custom wear part fabrication and repair when hands-on machining control is the best fit.
Large diameter grinding capabilities reach up to 65 inches in diameter and 12 feet in length, supporting precision finishing for heavy industrial parts and coated surfaces.
Solid tungsten carbide part fabrication improves wear life for demanding applications, including redesigned components that outperform traditional tool steel versions in abrasive operating environments.
Wear-resistant coatings using ceramics, tungsten carbide, chrome oxide, stainless, aluminum, and zinc help machined components resist corrosion, abrasion, and repeated industrial wear.

We begin by reviewing drawings, dimensions, wear patterns, materials, and operating conditions. For Ohio industrial customers, this early review helps align machining and coating recommendations with demanding production environments, from wire mills to heavy equipment applications.

Founder
Eugene Walter Klein is the visionary founder of Parkway-Kew Corporation, establishing the company in 1952 after identifying an innovative solution to a pressing industrial challenge. As a welding supply salesman, Eugene was approached by a valued customer seeking help repairing worn machine parts and improving their wear resistance. Drawing on his expertise, he recommended a specialized hardfacing wear-resistant weld alloy, proved the concept by welding the first test piece in his own garage, and secured the company's landmark first order to rebuild 100 wire drawing blocks. His entrepreneurial spirit and deep technical knowledge laid the foundation for what would become the world leader in hardsurfaced wire drawing blocks and capstans, a legacy that has endured for over 70 years.

President
Eugene Edward Klein Sr. serves as President of Parkway-Kew Corporation, carrying forward the legacy established by his father, the company's founder. Under his leadership, Parkway-Kew has experienced remarkable growth, outgrowing four separate facilities before relocating to its current headquarters in North Brunswick, NJ in 1999. Eugene has been instrumental in driving the company's continuous technological innovation, from the introduction of HVOF coating for wire drawing blocks in 1989 to the development of the proprietary Restore & Grind process. A recognized industry authority, he has traveled throughout the country delivering presentations on wire drawing block maintenance, cementing the company's reputation as the world leader in precision metal coating and hardsurfacing solutions.

Latin America Sales and Marketing Director
MBA Ing. Antonio Ayala R. serves as Latin America Sales and Marketing Director for Parkway-Kew Corporation, bringing an exceptional combination of business acumen and industry expertise to the role. As CEO of AA Enterprise, he leads Parkway-Kew's regional outreach across Latin American markets, connecting industrial clients with the company's world-class precision metal coating and wear-resistant solutions. A distinguished figure in the wire industry, Antonio previously served as President of Wire Association International (WAI, Inc.), demonstrating his deep engagement with the global wire and cable sector. His bilingual capabilities, executive leadership experience, and extensive professional network make him an invaluable asset in expanding Parkway-Kew's reach and partnerships throughout Latin America.
