PK-730 is Parkway-Kew's proprietary fused tungsten carbide coating specifically engineered for heavy-duty frac pump plungers. It provides superior wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and durability under the extreme pressures of hydraulic fracturing operations, significantly extending the service life of the plunger compared to standard coatings.

Parkway-Kew uses a proprietary concentricity-holding finishing process that simulates actual pump holding conditions during the finishing stage. This corrects concentricity issues of up to .015" with the clamping end, reducing vibration and scoring during pump operation, which directly translates to more stable, predictable plunger performance and longer service intervals.

Yes. Parkway-Kew provides full-service rebuilding and recoating for worn frac pump plungers. Rebuilding with a fresh application of PK-62 or PK-730 coating is a cost-effective alternative to purchasing new plungers, restoring the component to like-new performance standards and extending its operational service life significantly.
