Fuse welding is the process we use when a hardsurface layer needs to be metallurgically bonded to the base metal — a true fusion at the interface. The chemistries are PK-920, PK-700, PK-675, and PK-730 depending on the application.

A fused coating is a finished wear layer in itself: once fused it cannot be selectively repaired or rebuilt in place, so the alloy and thickness are chosen up-front to match the intended service life.
