Pulleys rebuilt, rope life extended.
Groove geometry restored to spec, then a wear-resistant hardsurface layer engineered for the counter-rope — for shipping, port terminals, and lifting equipment.
Groove geometry restored. Wear layer engineered for the rope.
A worn wire rope pulley chews through rope. We rebuild pulleys and sheaves by restoring the groove geometry, then adding a wear-resistant hardsurface layer engineered for the specific rope construction the pulley runs against.
The outcome is a pulley that runs longer, wears more evenly, and — because the wear layer is matched to the counter-rope — takes less life out of the rope than an unrestored pulley would.
- Groove geometry restored to spec
- Hardsurface layer matched to the counter-rope
- Reduces rope wear as well as pulley wear
- In service in shipping, port terminals, and lifting equipment
