From a garage in New Jersey to four facilities outgrown.
Eugene Walter Klein was a welding supply salesman in 1952 when a customer asked whether anything could be done to keep their worn machine parts in service. He proved the answer by welding the first test piece in his own garage with a hardfacing wear-resistant alloy. The first big order followed: rebuilding 100 26-inch Vaughn wire drawing blocks for CF&I in Roebling, New Jersey.
A year later, in 1953, KEW (Klein, Eugene Walter) Engineering partnered with Parkway Welding to form Parkway-Kew Corporation. Four facilities later, the company moved into its current North Brunswick headquarters in November 1999, where the same family still leads it today.

President
Son of the founder. Under his leadership the business grew through four facility moves, the 1999 relocation to North Brunswick, and presentations on wire drawing block maintenance across the country.
